S&G's collection rates are rarely bettered therefore we seek enforcement/telephone collection agents with excellent communication and persuasive skills who are self-motivated and happy to work unsocial hours and at weekends.
Enforcement Agents
S&G have an excellent reputation for attracting and retaining quality personnel and as such rewards its staff with an extremely competitive pay structure.
In addition S&G also provides external agents with a phone, a company vehicle and an iPad. Our staff retention is rarely bettered. Classroom and on-going in the field training is also provided.
S&G are happy to receive applications from experienced Enforcement Agents as well as those who are looking at entering the profession for the first time. Six months training is provided to new recruits.
You will be expected to pass/have passed the CIVEA Certificated Enforcement Agent examination and have no county court judgements. The position is based on a 5 day flexible working week including evenings and weekends. You will also be required to gain satisfactory clearance from the Disclosure and Barring Service as well as hold or be granted an Enforcement Agents Certificate in the County Court.
We prefer our applicants to have 5 GCSEs at A to C grade including Maths and English and you will be expected to pass a skills test prior to interview.
Telephone Collection Agents
Following the introduction of the new TCE Act 2007 telephone collection of council tax debts is becoming common practice within our profession as a back up to doorstep collection.
S&G are seeking to expand this side of our business and are seeking suitable candidates who have experience of telephone collections to act as both inbound and outbound collection agents.
S&G are therefore seeking individuals to who are excellent negotiators who are able to communicate clearly and confidently and who can thrive in a busy environment.
The role will involve seeking to ensure that debtors pay their debts quickly whilst taking their personal circumstances into consideration. The successful candidate will require excellent negotiation skills and have excellent customer relation skills.
The job is being offered on a part time and full time basis and includes evenings (until 8:00pm) and weekend (9:00 to 1:00pm) working.
