Fees Payable In Respect Of Council Tax

Additional fees can be avoided by prompt payment.

First visit with a view to levying distress £24.50
Second visit with a view to levying distress £18.00
Walking Possession Fee £12.00
Levy Fee  
Where the sum due at the time does not exceed £100 £24.50
Where the sum due at the time of the levy exceeds £100;  
on the first £100 of the sum due 24.50%
on the next £400 4.00%
on the next £1500 2.50%
on the next £8000 1.00%
on any additional sum; and the sum due at any time for these purposes means so much of the amount in respect of which the liability order concerned was made as is outstanding at the time. 0.25%
Attendance  
For one attendance with a vehicle with a view to removing goods (where following the levy, goods are not removed). Reasonable costs and fees incurred. Typically our fee is; £125.00
Removal and Storage  
For the removal and storage of goods for the puposes of sale: Reasonable costs and fees incurred. Typical charge per day; £10.00 ~ £15.00
Additional Visits  
In the event that four or more visits are made to your property £75.00

Fees payable in respect of Road Traffic Debts

Additional fees can be avoided by prompt payment.

1. For preparing and sending a letter advising the debtor that a warrant is with the bailiff and requesting the total sum
(note the fee under paragraph 1 can only be recovered if the letter is sent before a first visit is made to the debtor)		 £11.20
2. For Levying Distress  
Where the sum does not exceed £100.00 £28.00
Where the sum demanded and due exceeds £100.00;  
on the first £200.00 28.00%
on any additional sum over £200.00 5.50%
3. For Attending to Levy Distress  
Where the levy is not made, the reasonable costs and charges for attending to levy, not exceeding the fees and charges which would have been due under paragraph 2 if the distress had been levied; the costs and charges are subject to detailed assessment under rule 11. Typical fee per visit (up to a maximum of 3 visits) £28.00
4. For Taking Walking Possession  
Where a person is left in physical possession (close possession) charge per day £5.60
Where walking possession is taken;  
for the first 14 days, charge per day £0.55
each day thereafter, charge per day £0.05
5. For Removing Goods  
Or attending to remove goods where no goods are removed, reasonable costs and charges. The costs and charges are subject to detailed assessment under rule 11. Typical fee per visit (up to a maximum of 3 visits) £60.00
